C-130J Demo 'Paris 2011' *In Cockpit*

In '02 or '03 for the Marine Expo at KNYG (Quantico) they were giving "joyrides" in one of the new C-130J's the USMC had delivered. As you walked on the plane they handed out barf bags and said "most of you will need these". They were almost right, I am glad I picked a seat in the front because about 1/2 of the riders puked. (I didn't but I doubt I would have made it through any more maneuvers)
 
What a terrific video! Thanks for posting this. Great to see an old guy at the helm too. lol Amazing aircraft and terrific performance showing her off. Must be wonderful to fly that bird. I liked how they split the views between the outside and inside of the plane too. Nice! the Air National Guard has some C-130's here. Get to see them flying around Los Alamitos and at LGB. Sad that Boeing pulled their program out from LGB.

Lucky you! I would have loved to have done that.
 
First in flight refueling for me was off a KC-130J. Cool airplane from what I understand, obviously the latest in a very long line of production. On a side note, got my big wing tanking qual this afternoon, thanks Omega :)
 
A very polite aural warning system they have...Also sounded like mircrosoft window "dings" in there too.
