Boutique air

Is there anyone out there who currently flies for Boutique Air? I'd like to know what the training is like, lifestyle, bases, the aircraft condition, etc. I would be coming in having never flown a PC-12, but I do have Baron and King Air time. Any insights appreciated.

Training pay is $750 for 2 weeks in DEN. Base pay is 25k for FO's. I don't work there, but I have a buddy that does and likes it.

The only "insider" knowledge I have on the company comes from talking/flying with one of their Captains who is also a CFI at the club I belong too. He has nothing but good things to say about the company. I haven't seen him in a while but last I heard was that the DEN base is short on Captains and subsequently he flies well above min guarantee. Competitive times seem to be about the 600 ~ 800 range for FOs.

I've heard some good things and some not so good things...So it seems pretty average from the outside.

Does anyone know if they pay for hotel while in training in Denver? Also does anyone know the dollar amount on their training contract?

That's not going to happen. EAS isn't going away.

I've not read the law on this, but it was explained to me that EAS cannot go away. It has to be dragged off the books by Ohare. Hence the reason so many empty planes fly to towns that don't really benefit from EAS these days.

Problem with EAS carriers is that they all seem to get a few routes as a startup going, people like them so they expand... way too quickly, then market forces take a downturn, or the town they're flying to decides they cancelled once so they want someone else, all of a sudden they're persona non grata and they fold up shop. Lather, rinse, repeat. Although whoever is the lessor of those airplanes is making a killing off the whole deal.

Couldn't you just call them up, ask them, and get it straight from the horse's mouth?

In case anyone else is curious, I talked to a recruiter, and the training contract is $8,000 for one year prorated after 6mo.
