Bombardier vs. Embraer

Pass riding is a fringe benefit. You should not complain when your company is doing well enough to fill their airplanes. In the end, that's good for you. If you don't want to run into that issue, buy a ticket, otherwise, stfd and stfu

So we dont get French benefits?

Ahh filling a 37 seat aircraft with high fuel expenses might not be the best indication the airline is doing well.

Actually, can't fill it to 37 seats maybe 34 seats because of weight restrictions. So explain to me how consistently being overweight, leaving passengers behind is 'good' for an airline.

The GSO station had to give out something like $75,000 in vouchers, denied boarding vouchers, etc when CHQ started their CRJ service from there to IAH this past summer. They were usually weight restricted to 40 seats out of 50.

Oh by the way, yes I have bought tickets for family when they have had to be there.

thats why CAL is doing GSO to IAH now with the B1900...Fuel stops in ATL-JAN-MLU! Cash cow.

Fringe benefit?!?! Pass riding is da bomb, at least when traveling alone. I've flown more these past two months then I've ever in the last 5 years combined. Been able to hang out with many friends and family members within a time period that would be impossible financially without pass benefits. First class sometimes too. Moreover, when the flight is full there is that last option of the jumpseat.
