Bird Strike Pics

I was browsing a collection of photos on the server at my flight school today and came across these pics of a goose strike incident from a couple years ago:

I didn't post all the pics, but the silver pickup truck was from the USDA. They came and put the bird in a plastic bag and took it away.
 
Looks like the Great Horned Owl, that I wrapped around my West Coast Mirror in Yakima, WA. It was dangling from the mirror and some wildlife resource people came out and took a report, and the owl. I guess its a big deal to hit an Owl in Washington.

Yea.... I don't know the people in the photo nor do I want the owner of the aircraft to get bent out of shape. Protecting the innocent.


and we needed to see the gory stuff why?
What do you think pictures of a birdstrike would show?

I think Washington has some deal that for every time somebody takes out an owl, they get to hire another logger. :sarcasm:
