Bike rental

Also recommend trying on pads at a real brick and mortar shop and see what fits. Commit to buying something from them just make sure they let you try it on and at least walk around in it to make sure its comfy. Once you know your sizing search for deals on the interwebz but don't "showroom" a local bike shop. Try something on and learn the sizing but buy the product you think will work for you. I have 5-6 pairs of kneepads for my DH race weekends and trips to the bike park so I'm not constantly doing laundry. The POC chest guard I can clean up with some soap and water occasionally. The plastic doesn't seem to hold any odors. The pads are another story lol.
