Yesterday afternoon I got a phone call from my USAF recruiter. I found out that after 4 years of overpriced education, and a lifetime of waiting, the United States Air Force is giving me the chance to become an officer, and a pilot! At this point I am just so overwhelmed by the whole thing, I don't really know how to feel. But it appears that good things DO come to those who wait. So for those of you who have considered applying for USAF OTS, dont wait another minute! The military still needs people as much as ever. For my selection board (04-05 Critical), there were 119 applications for pilot, and 54 got selected. Those are pretty good odds folks!
