BFR Complete

So as a follow on to my 9 years out thread.....

I finished up my BFR today after .8 hours of holds in the sim, 1.4 hours of approaches to TOA and LGB and a little ground work to make sure I didn't confuse Class B's with TRSA's

I was a lot easier than I thought and now in addition to the BFR I'm 1/3rd of the way to my Instrument.

Its been a great month and I'm so happy to be back flying!

Congrats. I went a little bit crazy with mine. I had been out of flying for about 6 years. I think I logged about 12 hrs plus a couple in the sim. Did I need to, no, but I felt it would be a good way to get back into things as I was jumping into CMEL right after.

Glad you're back. I did a BFR on my commercial yesterday. It was a nice little cross country. I hadn't flown in 11 months, and have been working a terrestrial houly job since, but once I was in the air again, none of that seemed to matter.

It's a good feeling. Now to get an IPC and another CFI checkride...
