Guys, need somehelp. I'm overwhelmed with all the pay sites out there that are supposed to be"the" place for employers and pilots to meet; jetjobs.com, pilotjobs.com ,findapilot.com, blah, blah blah. I don't mind paying $$$ but which one is best?Especially looking one that have openings for corporate/135 operators...someplace other than just comair or mesaba.

Oh, also is this site having a job fair in Oct? I saw one for 2010...one in2011???

Thanks

Bill

I think this forum is a great place for finding jobs. Two of the jobs I am currently working came from this website. A lot of jobs get posted in the Jobs Available section, both public and members only area.

I subscribed to the big orange site for a couple of years, but that didn't result in any jobs. Because of JC, I landed my CFI job as well as my current 121 gig. As a bonus, JC isn't just a job site. It's an entire aviation community. The benefits are far reaching, way beyond that of a simple job site. IMO, you've got your job site right here, and then some.

my fault on the font, I cut and pasted the post into Word® for spell check and when I reposted it it was all messed up (didn't see there's a spell check here)

I like this place so far :-)

It's all good. The fact that you use spell check at all makes many here very happy.

Welcome!

I HAVE HAD A...ahem. I have had a bit of luck with climbto350...in fact I landed my favorite job there. I've been offered a couple of others from it that I turned down for various and sundry reasons. With that said, it's rather expensive for what you get. I'd say 80% of the posts can be found elsewhere...there's definitely a lot of "filler". JC will generally have anything "well known" from a larger operator and signal to noise ratio is a lot better. If you're especially interested in corporate/charter, you might try PPW...or not.
