My CFI student just passed her CFII initial ride at the AFW FSDO!

Why so special?

Her checkride was two days long!

Day 1- 8 hour oral (not done yet)

Day 2- 4 more hours of oral( thats 12 hours....duh). Then a 3.4 hour flight!!

She effin rocks!!

(and so do I) :D

She told me she has to wear her dorky pilot hat around the terminal cause everyone thinks shes a FA.

I told her im gonna buy a ticket on one of her flights so I can yell from the back " Aww..isnt that cute they let the FA's sit in the seat before they pushback."

my II was like 4 hours total... how could you possibly remain within the PTS and take 12 hours for the oral!?! (my guess...alot of story time with DPE and "breaks")

Naa....dont worry, this is not common at all. She said they spent about two hours talking about Switzerland. (her home country)

Remember, this is not a DPE ride, its a FSDO ride. The PTS goes out the window.
 
lol, i missed the FSDO part...haha. yeah. i know all about FSDO rides. My initial (LAS FSDO) was a 2 dayer as well. 9 hour oral and 3 hour flight. Mostly BS, but overall much much more stressfull than it should have been.

And you and Ryan can't hold a candle to me. 100% pass rate AND I passed with Soprenuk.

Man, I must have hit the jackpot with mine...one guy just doesn't take long period, and the other was pressed for time, so both my MEI and II were extremely short.

As for my pass rate...two of my students hurt me in the end when they failed. I was just getting ready to leave for my new job too.:( But it wasn't too bad. I still did well enough for my automatic renewal. :)
