B55 Baron vs B58 Baron

If there's anyone who happens to know... Are there any handling differences between a BE 55 and a BE 58 Baron?

I want to fly one to see what it's like and found a flight school which flies a B55.

Thanx

Essentially, No.

The 55 might be a little bit lighter on the controls, kind of like an F-33 vs. an A-36.

Of course it is probably in ones head, you know, this (B-58) is a bigger plane than the (B-55) so, it must be heavier on the controls.

If you have flown a 55 you can fly a 58 without any problems. They are both a blast to fly! If it is an older one just make sure that you don't grab the throttles instead of the props, and vice versa!

Or the gear instead of the flaps!

Oops.. I guess that's the airplane everyone's warned me about the crossed controls....

Thanx. I'll have to go check out the 55 Baron.
