Aviation Psychiatry

I am a qualified Psychiatrist working in Switzerland but about to move to Canada in about 10 months. I am interested in Aviation Psychiatry, not as my main job, but as a job on the side. I would like to aks whether there are training courses in Aviation Psychiatry in Canada or the US, and if there are job opportunities in this field.

There are no formal training programs (residencies) in aviation psychiatry. If you have an interest in "aviation psychiatry, you will have to develop a relationship with an airline or university and build it. There are psychiatrists who are consultants to the FAA but the way most get there is to be an AME and a psychiatrist then develop repationships with the agency.
