Aviation museums/attractions

Hey all ! Anybody know of any good aviation related musuems or attractions in Vegas, Pheonix, LA, or San Franciso area ? My dad and I are taking the west coast tour later this month, just checking what might be out there...thanks !!
 
Well in the San Bernardino/LA area, there is Planes of Fame in Chino and March Field Air Museum right outside of March Air Force Base (be careful if you go to this one, the exit for it is a separate exit past the air force base exit). Both of these have a decent collection of aircraft. Also, up the coast a bit toward the Ventura area is the Camarillo Air Musuem right off of Camarillo Airport. I know Chino and Camarillo have both of the only flying Japanese Zeroes in the world (correct me if I"m wrong). I know there is also the Palm Springs Museum (which I have yet to go to) that sounds pretty good. These are a couple in the LA area that I know about (and I'm sure there are a heck of a lot more). The Midway looks pretty cool, I havn't been on an aircraft carrier in ages. That's something I got to check out!

Still nice for a change though!
 
Yep bigey sounds good, we can do that !! My dad is gonna just love gettin dragged all around LA chasing airplanes and airports :)

Seriously? What type of food will you guys be serving. I love to try out new restaurants! Just tell me where and when, and I'll be there (expecting a big discount at that too:p ).
 
hey Alex go there the same day we'll be there !! I heard Bigey say everything was free, unlimited, for any of us !! And they are gonna include a huge free cake and stuff too. :)

Are you sure about that?
Remember, we're the ones who will either rate your restaurant a must see, or a musty sea (don't ask). Anyway, did you forget what you already said? Geese! Remember, you told us not to worry about menus because you are going to give us every dish on and off the menu for free. Then, if we want to order 2nd's it be 50% of the price, 3rd are 100%, and then 4th's will be 150% of the price.

Honestly Bigey! Do we have to hold you back an extra year in high school? :D
 
shervin i see a great oppurtunity to play a joke on my dad here :) we get a bill for like 400 dollars or somethin....see how he reacts :)

Well if you guys come...seriously eat as much as you eat just dont tally your bill too high. Dont walk in and be like "umm i'll have 3 of the most expensive items, stuffed with the second highest price item, stuffed with the 3rd most expensive item.

BTW, guys, it's a italian joint. Not full blown sit down, more like order food and recieve eat, then leave. No waiter nothing like that.

Don't worry bout me, even if I wanted to clean you out I wouldn't be able to. Most of the time I can only eat like half a dinner and then I'm full. The other half usually turns out to be the next day's lunch. (I guess I'm preparing myself for life as a CFI) :)
