The corporate headquarters is located in San Marcos, TX.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><strong>Mission Statement:</strong><br /><div>"To continuously raise the bar for safety and customer satisfaction while demonstrating an uncommon ability to execute under the most challenging circumstances and the most difficult client requirements".</div><div>&nbsp;</div><strong>Purpose:</strong><br /><div>Serve as a Dispatcher for aircrafts operating under FAA Part 135 flight rules on a government contract in Africa, providing passenger/cargo transport as well as casualty evacuation and aerial delivery support of the government client in an austere environment. Incumbent will be responsible planning, dispatching and flight following each flight as assigned.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><strong>Responsibilities:</strong><br /><ul><li>Plan flights as assigned and obtain information regarding purpose of the flight, weather, operating procedures, passenger/cargo loads, origin and destination airfields, requested schedule and special instructions</li><li>Ensure proper preparation of flight plans, considering such factors as altitude, terrain, weather, range, weight, cruise control data, airport facilities and navigational aids</li><li>Ensure all flights are released in accordance with FAR part 135 guidelines and all of the necessary documentation is provided to the flight crew for legal and safe completion of each flight</li><li>Follow all assigned missions on tracking software and report deviations to operations management</li><li>Maintain historical data on all flights and provide necessary reporting to operations management.</li><li>Ensure each flight is completed as assigned by the company/customer, strictly adhering to schedules, routes of flight and load manifests.</li><li>Routinely communicate with the customer regarding current flight status, planning future flights, deviations to planned flights and changes in status of the aircraft, crew members or the operating environment.</li><li>Communicate routinely with on site management personnel on any issues with regard to safety of flight, aircraft maintenance status, flight crew status, operational communication issues, customer concerns or personnel issues.</li></ul><strong>Qualifications:</strong><br />Experience Requirements:<br /><div><ul><li>Preferred: Have at least one year of experience aviation dispatcher operating under FAR part 135 flight rules.</li><li>Preferred: To have at least one year of experience governmental contracting experience in an OCONUS austere environments/locations</li></ul></div>Education Requirements:<br /><ul><li>Minimum: High School diploma</li><li>Preferred: Undergraduate degree</li></ul><strong>Unique skills or certifications:</strong><br /><div><ul><li>FAA Dispatch Certification required</li><li>Preferred: Experience in aerial delivery</li><li>Minimum: Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security clearance at the Secret level (U.S. citizenship required)</li><li>Preferred: Holds a current and active U.S. Security clearance at the Secret level (U.S. citizenship required).</li></ul></div><strong>Physical Requirements:</strong><br />Incumbent is required to: be able to lift a minimum of 50 Lbs., perform aircraft dispatching duties for up to 12 hours a day in an office like environment, be exposed to a wide variety of weather conditions while working outside including but not limited to extreme heat, cold and adverse weather conditions.<br />
