Aerotek Van Nuys, California:<BR /><br><br>The VNY location is currently looking for an dispatcher to join their group. The essential responsibilities will include the following day to day duties:<br />1. Ensure dispatch procedures are followed<br />2. Dispatch aircraft to students in accordance with the priority system. Annotate flying schedule with time of departure and any other info (cancellations, ect)<br />3. Ensure flight tags are reviewed prior to transferring to account. Coordinate with accounting to resolve hobbs discrepancy problems.<br />4. Updating training forms and informing dispatch manager when they need to be reordered. <br />5. Issue fuel cards to students and ensure accountability.<br />6. Review pass down log when coming on duty.<br />7. Ensure weather room, flight planning room and simulator rooms are kept in order.<br />8. Operate dispatch radio <br />9. Operate dispatch computers and weather components<br />10.
