Because of precessive forces that overwhelm the Attitude gyro's rigidity in space a Attitude indicator will re-level inself with the combined force of centrifugal and gravity after a steep turn due to the self erecting pendulous vanes. Why would this error be greatest after 180 degree turn and not worse after a longer, constant steep turn in the same direction, say 360 or 720 degree steep turn in the same direction? It Seems to me that the longer the precessive forces are present and the percieved force of gravity is square with the floor and not the horizon, the Attitude gyro would be just as/or more out of whack after a prolonged exposer, such as in a prolonged steep turn greater than 180 degrees?
