I know we have a few on this board. I just wanted to say, be careful out there. It looks like one hell of a busy fire season here on the west coast. We are even seeing smoke here in Vegas. I hope hurricane Jimena lends you all hand.
They used an Evergreen 747 to drop retardant yesterday. The Fox station in LA had a helicopter perfectly in position to shoot impressive aerials of the flyby. Here's a link to the story, scroll down about half a page for the video.
Sean, thanks, Dale just went on two weeks vacation. It's amazing that we've been dropping on this since last Tuesday but the second the 747 or DC-10 fly on it, every camera in the world catches it. I'm probably headed back down on Sunday.
As I said already other places, stay safe out there!!! If we ever meet up, you don't pay a dime all night!!!:beer: Same goes for the Bee or any other fire pilot, meat missile fire fighter, or any others you work with!!!
