Mountain Air Cargo Houston, Texas:<BR /><p>&nbsp;SUMMARY<br /> Conduct simulator flight instruction, ground instruction, standardization, and associated required documentation.<br /> DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:<br /> This includes:<br />&#8226; Performs as ATR 42/72 classroom and simulator instructor in all phases of aircrew training including initial, upgrade and recurrent training, at both local and remote sites.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;. &nbsp; &nbsp; After FAA regulatory time requirements, be considered for check airman training as decided by the Manager of Training.<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Enable the efficient delivery of training by ensuring that an all administrative duties relating to training are arranged and the briefing room and simulator are prepared in readiness for the training session.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Conduct thorough briefings prior to each training session to provide the training expectations, as well as debriefings and critiques at the end of each training session, to ensure that the crewmember is aware of their performance. Provide a brief outline of the training events for future sessions.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Evaluate and document the crewmember’ knowledge, performance and progress in the training sessions in the relevant records and reports.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Analyze and correct deficiencies in crewmembers’ knowledge and performance.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Report an y crewmember training problems or conflicts to the 121 Training Supervisor.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Coordinate and schedule individual training if required.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Communicate with the simulator maintenance function to report any simulator problems or malfunctions.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Ensures compliance with safety and regulatory requirements and that all required documentation is properly accomplished.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Assists the Flight Training Manager with the development and validation of new training programs, examinations, manuals, and other pertinent materials.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Assists the Flight Training Manager with the revision of training programs, examinations, manuals, and other pertinent materials.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Assist the Flight Training Manager with the development of teaching aids such as demonstration models, multimedia visual aids, computer tutorials, and reference works.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Performs duties as a required ATR 42/72 crewmember in revenue operations with sufficient frequency to remain current under the regulatory requirements of 14 CFR 121.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;May be required to function as simulator check airman, if qualified and authorized.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;Performs other related operational and instructional tasks as required.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Other duties as assigned.<br />Education and Experience:<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Requires at least an associate degree with 2 to 4 years experience instructional and/or evaluating experience on transport category aircraft with suitable experience as a simulator instructor or suitable equivalent.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Possess five years experience with a scheduled/non-scheduled air carrier, including 2000 hours as Pilot in Command in air carrier service, and air carrier Pilot in Command time within previous 24 months or suitable equivalent.<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Minimum of three years relevant work experience demonstrating the a ability to prepare a lesson plan, interpret and present technical material, and independently teach an airplane model<br />&#8226; &nbsp; &nbsp; Possess an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate with multi-engine rating and a type rating for the ATR 42/72 (ATR Type Rating preferred).<br /> &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; . &nbsp; &nbsp; Required to successfully complete Mountain Air Cargo ATR instructor and check airman training.<br />Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:<br />&#8226;
