ATP written exam

Has anyone taken the 1 day crash course for the ATP written exam? Does this work? They say you can study all day, take the exam at the end of the day and most people pass.I am considering doing this as I don't have the time to study that 3 inch thick Gleim. Any feedback would be appreciated.

It definitely works. I often see people score in the 90's. I've seen 100% on the FE writtens more than once. But i have seen a couple people fail it as well. But the ones that do all had English as their second language. If you dont have a language barrier, you shouldnt have a problem.

I took the atp written and I am happy with my score.

I have never seen anyone fail it and I have been proctoring for 9 months!

however, ther is a first for everything!

Does ATP set up the material so all the student reads are the correct answers?

Yes. But it's a lot of material to cover. Most airline pilots are used to the 121 regs and procedures, and just need to brush up on aerodynamics and performance. I took it as a CFI and found it extremely difficult. I still got an 88
