Is this Atlas version of a dispatcher or flight controller?

Neither. You would be working on the back end of NavBlue building routes, figuring out max payloads for customers several days before the flight is scheduled, and inputting data for MEL/CDLs. It’s mostly a dispatch support role.

Yep you nailed it. You do a lot behind the scenes but also assist with fixing routes that don’t pass Eurocontrol, keeping up with runway bearing strength limits and getting waivers when needed, etc.

I believe they can work from home now and at least one is on call nights and weekends. I know because I am always waking one of them up at like 3:30 am. Super helpful role and really nice to have around.
