Atlas Intl Jumpseat

Have any of you tried jumpseating to/from an international location on Atlas as an OAL dispatcher? If so, how was the experience and was it difficult getting back to the United States from that location?

It all depends on where you are going to/from. Most of the time you don't leave from a gate- usually is just a parking spot on the FAR side of the airfield.
I also recommend that you try and dress as much like a pilot as possible, sans the shoulder boards. You will have a very hard time in some places going through customs/immigration not dressed like a crewmember.

What's the latest with international jump seating? I heard they restricted it during Corona, is it fully back? What's their facial hair policy? Is it the same as everyone else or more relaxed since your outside the flight deck on the 747 upper deck?

I rode the jumpseat from MIA to BOG to MIA recently.
I love the jumpseat department at Atlas...they're really really nice.
if you're coming back international on Atlas...get to the departure point a solid 4 hours before the flight is scheduled to depart...and/or consider wearing a pilot shirt with black pants.
