Atlas Hiring

Sounds like looking for 3-4. Starting pay is ~60k/yr with the usual benefits. CASS as soon as you give the company a copy of your passport.

What’s their work schedule? What do they want to see as far as experience?

5 on 3 off. 8 hour shifts. Most have prior regional experience. Looking for 1 Atlas and 1 or 2 Southern this round. Between now and the end of the year looking for a grand total of 4 Atlas and 3 Southern.

So beyond routes and types of airplane, are there differences between Atlas/Polar/Southern? I'm talking about things like pay, insurance premiums, 401k providers. QOL stuff.

Are there big differences in how the airplanes are equiped, ie. ACARS, sat phones, r-nav/gps? OpSpecs?

I'm not at a regional looking to upgrade. At the start, it would be more of a lateral move.

No difference in pay/benefits between Atlas and Polar- all are under the same union contract. Southern is at the Atlas payscale but it still not part of the union. Southern also has a few jumpseat differences as well.
The entire fleet is CATIII with the exception of a handful of jets. Likewise with ACARS/SATCOM.

That's weird. Is there any chance Southern will join the union?
When they merge with atlas. Until then, the union doesn't see a justification in the financials it would cost to have 13 dispatchers join the group if it will have the same end result as waiting for the merger.

Does anyone know what the hiring process is like? What comes after phone interview? In person interviews are done by a panel? Or usually 1 on 1?
