Anyone know much about these two companies? Do pilots fly for both seeing how Atlas Air acquired Polar Air back in 2001?
 
No, even though Atlas owns Polar, the comanies are run separately, both Atlas and Polar have their own union as well.

Not again, I thought they just recalled and had a new hire class, wondering if this is part of the pre-packaged bankruptcy deal that is coming up? Some of my buddies from Polar made the move from Long Beach California to New York, I hope that they do not live to regret it.
 
As far as I know this is fresh info, came from a friend who is a 747-400 F/O out of Kennedy. I think it consists of 100 F/O's and 30 F/E's....
