Just out of curiosity, what has your experience been like with Atlantic? I get mixed opinions from people and I would like to hear from some JCers.

I'll try to reply in less than 2 minutes of your posting...

Atlantic took over the Trajen FBO here in Austin a few months ago.

My experience:

Atlantic kept all the Trajen employees and as far as I can tell, nothing at all changed. They're organized and generally friendly, but fuel prices are up there with the highest in the country. I can go anywhere else in a 50 mile radius and pay $3.50/g at most, but alas, Atlantic charges $5 and change.

I used to work for Trajen at PWA. Last summer they changed to Atlantic. Probably the same time as Austin. Atlantic made a few changes at PWA that are upsetting some customers. Ramp fees, high fuel prices, and handling fees are pushing the smaller planes away. Some say that all they care about is fuel sales. More jets = more fuel sold. What's everyone else's take?

Yeah the reward points are cool. Double points if you top off. I think its five award bucks for every 100 gallons. Unfortunately its only available for jet fuel purchases. This deal is really for the pilots. What upsets me is that I know of some companies that do not allow the pilots to keep the rewards.
