ATIS Winds - True or Magnetic?

The METAR, ATIS, AWOS and ASOS are magnetic.
Someone in KS is probably responsible for HI weather. They account for magnetic variation.
But with today's FAA it's hard to say (twilight music).

If you READ it, it's TRUE.
(METARS, TAF, Surface Analysis Charts)

If you HEAR it, it's MAGNETIC.
(ATIS/AWOS/ASOS)

The exception is if you are talking with a FSS Briefer, because they're just reading the METARS to you.
