At what age did you move out of your parents' house?

yup.. left for college... came home for the first summer and never looked back after that!!

18 to college, came back after dropping out (a 3 month stay, age 19), off to Chicago for 7 years, returned when I got furloughed the first time (a 6 month stay at age 26) and haven't officially 'lived' there since.

When I left for college at 18. Parents sold the everything and moved into an RV before I got out of college. They feared my brother and I would move back home when we graduated!

The real question is when did your parents move back in with you??

lol.

Now with the prices of apartments in my area it looks like i'll be at ma & pa's for a few years after college.
sad to say prices in los angeles are not great and yes i will be moving back in with my parents for as long as i can! (they live on the beach)

21 to move into my new house.

My father lived with me at my house for 1 year, rent free.

Then my step father & mother lived with me for 4 months while they were selling their house in another city, rent free.

Now I am returning the favor until I go to flight school, rent free!!! :nana2:

If I had to do it all over again I wouldn't have gotten in debt while I lived with my parents and would have saved money but then again I have learned more about money since living on my own.

18, joined the air force, now 24, I've probably been home maybe 3 times in the last 5 years for a vacation ranging from 2 weeks to 1 month. But as of next week it'll be 4 times! Woohoo, cant wait until my parents meet thier new grandchild, that 22 hour trip will be all worth it :)

18 to goto college for a year. Then moved back home, finished college and moved out at age 23. If I get this regional job, I might have to move back home again as I can't afford to live on their sallery and pay rent too.

18 went to college...moved back during summer but worked all the time so not there much. Back after the college asked me not to come back something about grades to low and beer drinking to high. Went to work and lived home for about a year adn gone since 22
