I finally met the local JC celebrity, Mr. John Herreshoff himself!

Now there's someone besides JDflight to vouch for my existence (though with his philosophy major, the existence of all things may be in question).

My list of forum members met in person now numbers two . . .

. . . but, I'm psyched that there are so many JCers hanging around in these parts! After talking with John and finding out who's hanging around the mitt, JC Michigan seems like a strong contender. I understand that SopDan spends a good bit of time at the KBTL campus with me and I just haven't rubbed elbows with him yet.

The only downside is that I spent most of an evening either eating in a restaurant or sitting in my living room discussing politics, aviation, skiing, economic policy, or any number of other topics only to have John say as he's leaving, "Yeah, I should get home. I'm getting sick." If I catch whatever crap you're getting, you can expect a bill for my lost wages, you punk!!!

Admitting I'm addicted is the first step toward complete dependency . . .

And, Mr. Taylor, I heard some strange stories about that. One of them involved the admiring of someone's posterior? I might have to report this deranged online community to the proper authorities - though that would involve self incrimination. Especially now that so many of you can identify me: My cover is blown!

It was totally sweet finally being able to meet Photopilot in person. We've missed each other more than a few times now, first when he was back home in Flint like...a year ago? Then he was supposed to be in Utah, then Vegas, then he finally moves to Kalamazoo and after about a month and a half we have finally gotten together.

Let me tell ya'll, this dude and his wife are some super cool people. And they ski!

Oh and the sick thing; this is the quickest sick I've ever been. Got back from your place last night, started getting a fever and thought "well, this sucks." Woke up this morning and the feaver broke and my ears are already cleared out. I need to get sick like this more often.

Oh and the text message, yeah I had to have something creative to shoot back at you and that was the first crazy thing that came into my head. Expect something weirder to randomly show up in a few weeks.

Yeah guys, I've missed both of you a few times. One of these days I will have to remedy that. I am gearing up to blow some more money and finish out my commercial here quick, so I will probably be hanging out at airports a little more.
 
Yeah, I still live by the airport there. Just haven't been flying in about 8 months. The cash flow ran out for a while. I do get over to Grand Rapids from time to time to visit my brother too. Actually am trying to get a job where he works over there at Smith Aerospace. If there happens, we may move that direction.
