Asian female pilots

Does anyone know if there are any Asian females flying jets for any US air carrier? I am curious to know.

I know for a fact that Jetblue has a extremely HOT Asian female pilot. I saw her when I was in DEN on a layover.....HOT!... :D

Female Asian pilots for Asian carriers seem to be a little bit of a different story though from what I can tell.

There are a few though. A few students at where I was a CFI from China Eastern were girls. Also three weeks ago in ICN I saw a woman first officer for Singapore Airlines.

I flew with one last week.....at least she looked Asian. I didn't ask any questions about her actual ethnicity.

Wrong. ANA and its' subsidiary carriers all have females in their training programs. As well, Eva Air hires a good deal of females from Taiwan to fly for them.

Yes there are. However there are very very few. I have only seen 4. I trained one at ATP, she was a 74 captain at China Airlines. I saw one while i was jumpseating on Eagle, and we had 2 at pinnacle. They have since moved on to Southwest and FedEx.

The demographics of Airlines pilots is pretty much dominated by white males. I would say females make up about 10% (wag) and asian pilots make up even less. So to ask for specifically asian females...you're probably looking at less than 1 percent.

True. 10% may even be high. You should see the hiliarity that ensures when you've got two black guys named Doug in an airline of 12000-plus pilots.

"Hey man, you still in the guard?"

"Never was in."

"Oh come on man, you still commuting from ATL?"

"I live in PHX!"

"Yeah, whatever."

Story of my life! :)

Yep. Life's real rough for you, Taylor. Now, did you want your paycheck this month in gold bricks or a Masserati.

How bout having someone with your same first and last name. Both in the same domicile and seat!

Mine goes like this

"oh, i thought I was flying with B Lee"

"I am B Lee"

"Huh?"

"I am the asian version"

"oh~"

Or I will get

"Hey B, looks like we're flying together next week"

"I dont think so"

"I am pretty sure it says B Lee on my schedule"

"are you sure its not the other B. Lee"

"Huh??"

I met one who was a FO for Eagle a while back. We were both catching a ride on Southwest out of MDW.
