Asian Airlines Job Postings

Anybody have a good source of postings for jobs in Asia? I keep hearing people at work talking about lots of opportunity for CRJ drivers in China but when I do some Googling don't really find anything for someone qualified to be an FO.

If anyone knows of some sites or opportunities I have 1,000 TT 700 CRJ FO. No ties to anything and looking for an adventure!
 
From what I have seen, all of the six figure CRJ gigs are for Captains. For the right seat, many Asian airlines are hiring from within their countries, especially for the smaller jets. I recommend checking out Hong Kong Airlines. I have heard mixed things about them with scheduling, pay, etc. but it's the only gig for someone in your position, that I've seen. They want 1000 hours TT and 500 hours in a FAR 25 aircraft, for their 737 fleet. A type rating would be an advantage but not mandatory. Once you reach the 1500-2000 hour mark, a few more doors open across the Pacific and they may include wide bodies :) Hope this helps!

Have you thought about moving up to bigger equipment? It's not Asia but try Copa Airlines.
 
Bigger equipment would definitely be nice. Any links with some good info on pay/ work conditions at Copa? I found their application portal on their website but that's about it.

Also, what's required as an American to work in Columbia? Any idea?

Hong Kong Airlines - A330 (1500+)
Air Macau - A320 (2000+) Obviously the A320 is not a wide-body, but the A310s they operate would qualify.
Eva Air - A330 and 747 (1500+)
China Airlines - Everything the fly (1500+ but they require time on type)
Most of these also require a certain amount of commercial jet, glass, etc. time as well in the area of 500 hours.

Typically in Asia culture, it depends "who you know not what you know".

I have a Malaysian friend, got into Hong Kong Airlines with just 250hours from a Malaysia flight school. Guess what? His dad got him in! He could be the one and only Malaysian in Hong Kong Airlines.

Remember, the airlines do not really care how much hours you have. If they like you, they will take you in.

There are many airlines in Asia do not require type-rating!

Colombia is a pretty protected market. You have to get Colombian residence, have a very good inside connection, and convert your license to a Colombian one (which is a drawn out process, which I imagine is done on purpose to discourage us).

The Americans I knew flying in Colombia were working for American companies on US govt contracts. That's the reality

Try PLUNA, forgot his nickname but somebody on JC flew for them, their site says Uruguayan only, but that is for inexperienced pilots. It`s also an amazing place to live, nothing beats Punta in the summer!

Don't mean to steal the thread, but if my father is Colombian(I was born and raised in the US) how hard would it be for me to get a work permit in colombia? I'm Fluent in spanish.
