Arctic Sunrise

I took these photos at 10:50 am this morning...official sunrise was about 11:15.

Temp -2F, wind chill -12F...a beautiful tundra morning.

The fourth pic is a twin otter.

The last pic is a caravan departing runway 6.

Hmmm...kinda makes me feel like a wuss for not driving with the top down because it was 71F on the way home.

The odd fact of the day, we had eight hours, and eight minutes of sun today:)
