April Photos

Well I have three more school days until I am done college. Great time to be graduating:o Here are some photos. I flew 16 hours this weekend, but it is the only flying I've done so far this month. I ran up to Central New Jersey airport on Friday, then did a round trip to Spruce Creek Saturday, then back down Sunday and home Monday. Enjoy.

The quality sucks because we were in the bumpy clouds, but this is a Malibu with an Aspen panel

Here's a video as I approached the line of weather

That's all,

Alex.

As always...awesome photos!

Do you like the Aspen panel?

It has a lot of different functions and works pretty well. The display is a lot bigger than I expected and very clear. I doubt I'd pay to put it in a plane I owned, but if someone else was paying I'd be happy to fly behind it!

Yea I haven't had a chance to fly it but just messed with it on the ground, it looks ok. I don't like how it's not flush in the panel, it looks weird with the standard instruments. I heard it was a $20,000 upgrade on our light twin.

Alex,

Where was the camera in that first shot? It looks like it was mounted above the passenger headrest, but both your hands were available in the shot, so I'm wondering who/what was holding the camera?

Nice pictures! The first two are in my backyard. I know that view of Trenton well, it is the only way that city looks good. I can see my work in the second picture!

Indeed! Awesome pics! 62WM was on my computer background for almost forever! Awesome airplane as well.

Great pictures as always but what's up with all the broke stuff?

The ADHARs does that every so often. It has happened about five times in five years. The autopilot uses information from both ADHARs, so when one of the two ADHARs fails the autopilot also fails. All you have to do is reset the ADHARs inflight and it will reset in about five seconds.

awsome pictures, are those MDANG A-10s at Martin?

Yes.

I was in the right seat holding the camera!

Most people do not pick up on it, but the paint lines actually form a 20 for 20th Anniversary Edition Meridian.

Thanks for the comments,

Alex.

Great pics as always.

How long does it take you to get from Spruce Creek to Martin?

That was the only time I have done that leg. It was about 2:35, but there was a lot of vectoring for the approach. My normal trip is Spruce Creek to either Easton, Md or Georgetown, De which are both around 2:40 with no wind.

I can't decide of what to be more envious of this time... The fact that you only have 3 days until you graduate or that you're flying a pretty badass turboprop :buck:

Congrats on the college btw... I'm definitely more jealous about that lol
