Anyone work with a family member?

My father is an OMIC (Ops Manager) at the En Route Facility I would like to work at. I was curious if anyone else has had a situation where they want to work at a facility where a family member holds some type of supervisor or management position and if there were any workarounds to get hired on at that facility. I'm afraid the answer is going to be "wait til that family member retires" or "work at another facility".

I could commute to the airport for the time being, but I currently work in Tech-Ops and didn't really want to change facilities if AT picks me up.

I couldn't quote the rule but I'm pretty sure that your dad cannot be your direct supervisor, otherwise it's fine. My dad was an OM at SCT and when I toured the facility, the manager asked when I was submitting my paperwork to transfer there (by the way the answer is, never).

I'm going to say your fine, I know of a controller married to an OM, no problem.
