Yo sweet! I'll see ya there!

now scong....you know you aren't going to leave the wonderful 20 degree weather of the midwest for those nasty 60's of the west coast! get back in the game.....the waiting game:crazy:

Yeah... we've got it sooo good here.

OP: Sorry if we get this thread flushed to the Lavatory. Wish you the best of luck! Here's a few AT-SAT tips to keep calm during the test:

1.) Take your time. Ignore that timer of doom at the bottom of the screen on each section.

2.) Don't worry if planes collide. It could just as easily have been a couple of single-engines as it could have been hundreds of innocent lives aboard two 747's.

3.) Pay attention to the instructions on letter factory. Points are deducted if the letters are shipped into the U.S. with traces of lead.

4.) Take your breaks! It's a good time to grab a snack, clear your mind, or cry in the fetal position in the corner.

5.) Be honest on the analogies. But don't worry if you mess up -- that camera and microphone pointed directly at your face are NOT being fed into the next room, where a team of highly-trained psychologists are scrutinizing your every move.

Best of luck! Let us know how it goes!

Just some input. You don't need to study. If you have that green book then read it. I read it once all the way through went and took the test and did well. It is not hard, don't be nervous. You will do well just give it your full attention the whole time. When it comes to the planes just pretend like it is a video game lol. The math is basic. The personality questions are a joke. The letter factory is somewhat fun. This test was soooo easy you guys have nothing to worry about. :nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2::nana2:

:yeahthat:

i also agree that studying is overrated. i looked at the math section for about 1/2 an hour the night before the test. other than that, i used the cd that comes with the green book. it's not exactly the same as the test, but it is close. probably the hardest part of the test are the questions during the letter factory. they are very random, and come when you least expect it. analogies is probably next. you will probably come out feeling like you bombed the thing, but don't let that feeling fool you.

Is the test really super-easy, or are we all just super-geniuses?

Only the FAA knows... *waves at the FAA as they read the forums* :)

Thanks for the info guys (and Gals???) Not too worried here. Just trying to find something to do to pass the time. Just one question if you dont mind. I took the green book angles test today. I missed three out of thirty on it but of the three the answers were crazy...ie: I would think the answer was around 170 degrees but in the answer key they had the choice of 165 and 175:panic:

Ive heard that on the real test the answers are not this close...any comments?

regards,

Yeah, the angles on the real test are a lot easier than the books. All in all, if you can handle the green book and the letter factory, you'll find that the actual test isn't too bad. Just don't waste too much time on any one question. Each section is timed.

Good Luck!

I wouldn't worry about it too much. I think the biggest difference between multiple choice options was about 15 degrees. (the 45 degree angle on my test had an option for 30 degrees I believe)

I am gonna be there this coming Tuesday, anyone else? The only thing that seems hard to me from the green book test prep cd is the damn ATST, that thing is mind muming...

The air traffic simulation?? Yeah, the green book one is junk. Who has the link to that uh... online one? (It's prob. in the ATSAT thread).
