I'm surprised no one has come out with some kind of injection molded polymer for a rollerblard... kind of like what magpul uses for some of its products.Did you look at the Stealth Air bag? Not as heavy as the original bag, and I've had no issues with it thus far.
I was looking at the stealth air too but kinda wrote it off, maybe that's the one I need to consider.
That sounds great, but some of the polymers Magpul use aren't the greatest in the world. Plus you would have all the downsides of a hardside bag then, can't overstuff it.I'm surprised no one has come out with some kind of injection molded polymer for a rollerblard... kind of like what magpul uses for some of its products.
I know you are looking at plastic but I had the heavy metal one for years and you're right, it was too heavy. Especially if you commute, it's hard on your back to lift it up into the overhead bins. But I just bought the 22" luggageworks stealth air and I absolutely love it. It's WAY lighter. And LW says it's the same weight as the plastic one. You might consider it just because it will hold up better than the plastic.
Post a review. After my cheapo Walmart bag kicks the bucket, I'm looking to upgrade. That didn't take long, trigger pulled.
