Looking to meet people living at Corporate Housing Solutions between November 24th and April 2nd, I did not realize that there was no bus scheduled anywhere near here until it was too late, I am in desperate need of a carpool, I will not have a car with me but definitely will pay for gas. Hope to hear from you all soon. Can't wait for class!

Have you not been able to find anywhere else to live? As far as I know, there is still room at plenty of the other apartments in town. I am staying at Walnut Gardens and from what I heard, there is no shortage of rooms left. A bus definitly runs by there too.

hey im staying there now. im done dec 4. corp housing solutions definatly has its advantages and disadvantages. the disadvantage is that it's not on a bus route, so you have to drive every day. however, the place is brand new and the apartments have nice flat screens. my apt has 13 ft ceilings. ive been over to some of the other apartments, and theyre not so great. id definatly recomend staying there

Yeah, i have found other apartments but now in order to cancel my reservation it will cost me around $700.

PRSATC- Do you know if there are many students living there, my problem is my car broke down this past week so i will not have a vehicle with me, so my only hope is to find someone to car pool with to academy. Do you think that this is a possible feat to overcome?

im not sure how many people are staying here. but yeah, almost impossible without a car to stay here because of the lack of bus routes and what not

yea i mean its a pretty sweet place right off of reno ave, which is pretty much the main road to anything in okc. ur out of the city, so its real quiet at night. maybe about 15 min from the academy. definartly worth it haha

if the mandatory faa credit card thing is true I'm probably gonna stay either here or at fairways. otherwise it'll be walnut gardens to save some coin. but I don't have a school date yet :banghead:

There's no point. The HR reps have absolutely no control on assigning school dates. They don't even have contact with that office other than sending and receiving lists.

It worked for me! I told them I was "in a hurry" to get started and I bugged them a few times a week. She said they are needing people here in the Seattle area pretty bad, so that helped a little too.

It doesn't hurt either way... As long as you can get a hold of someone (which is easier said than done of course). Have you called Robin Bowring? She is the FAA support specialist and helped me out a lot.

Robert Anderson is my rep and he's been extremely helpful. I'll give him a call/email tomorrow

Highland Pointe is a nice place. I stayed there while i was at the academy over the summer. There is a gym (small) on site and you have your own washer and dryer. The apartments are great and it's located right off the 40.
