Anyone in the MI area? Going to the GLIAC??

I thought about it, but didn't have enough interest to warant the fee. I've heard the conference can be very informative, but never had enough of an urge to go. Although I should go just to see John and Martha.

Hey if you're still interested in going one of my profs is asking for volunteers (setting up exhibits, helping out seminar speakers, etc) for the 20th and the 22nd. I believe the "work" is from 9:30 till 5 or so. And there are "off duty" periods.

But anyway...if you volunteer you get in free for all 3 days. If you want to go to the dinners you still have to pay but other than that and parking, you'd be good to go.

I'll be "working" on the 20th and possibly flitting around on the 21st.

I may have seen you there - I was demoing the G1000 at the cessna booth.

I was there on Friday, and I spent a good 10 minutes at the G1000 display. I was discussing the pros and cons of teaching students Western Michigan University students to fly on a glass panel.

Was I talking to you??

My partner in crime Dave and I were there - I was the younger guy, and Dave was wearing glasses. But I do remember talking about that, so chances are I was there.

Can you give us the low down on it?
Didn't make it due to flying on Friday, snow storm on Saturday.
