If you did or if it's in the paper tomorrow... scan & send me the newsarticle! :nana2:

I haven't been able to find anything about it yet... but he sounded good on the phone...1st engine failure, but not 1st sim trained problem....scary (for me), but i know he has the training to do the job right...

Dough has 7 lives left...

I'm glad that everything turned out o.k. I will keep my eye on the newspapers over the next few days to see if I can find the article.

Took off on 32L landed on 27L!

I hear the FO's a real stud! And good looking!

Adrenaline's a little high, I guess I can start on my 'to do' list!

Did it happen this morning or yesterday? I'll keep an eye out for an article and send it your way if I see it.

Maybe an hour ago.

So are you off duty after something like that or at least the rest of the day? That would be a rollercoaster of emotions!!

If you'll be in town for a few hours for lunch let me know...my office is about 2 miles from the airport. My treat!

Might be five of us! I think all the ladies are married though. :)

Wow...Haven't read anything yet, just signed on to get my morning fix of Jetcareers and came across this...

Hope to read more details when they come available!! Nice work bro'

Well that might present a problem then! :) The offer is open if you feel like getting out for an hour or so. If everyone else wants to come as well and want to pile into the family cruiser Ford Taurus they're more than welcome to come!

If not then next time! Stay safe out there!

That explains why my text messaging beeped me awake this morning. Sorry, my phone screen isn't big enough to make out what all that says, bro!

I flew with a captain last week who is hitting 60 this September. He said he's had 8 engine failures over his career. That's something to look forward to. :( :(
