Anyone Fly the E50P or the E55P

I have a few questions about performance characteristics.
What speed is best for your climb from say surface up to flight levels?
Are you capable of going faster than this and climbing at a slower rate?
What is your best cruise speed (FL300 and higher)?
What about level at 100-FL180?
Is there a big difference between the E50P and the E55P?

Thanks for your responses.

Is there a big difference between the E50P and the E55P? There’s nothing big about either

ATC will always call you an Eclipse and vector you out of the way because all the speeds you want to know are too slow. But...climb speeds are 200 for the E50 225 for the E55, these speeds are only good until the low 30’s. You can climb at 275 in the E55 if you’re in a hurry. Turn on deice in the E50 and it’s a dog, the E55 is ok with just engine anti ice but it also becomes a dog with wingstab anti ice. Cruise in the E50 is .62 the E55 is .74 on a good day. They are very much different airplanes.

I flew both.

100: 250 to about 10-15K then let speed bleed down to about 160-200 the rest of the way up. To get to 250, I’d clean up, lower the nose to about 5 degrees and let it accelerate. You’d get about 1500-2000 feet per min.

300: 250 to 10k and then 280-300 until Mach .70. If you’re light, you can climb on the barber pole and have a decent rate.

E50P is a Small and E55P is a small plus for SRS Wake Turbulance, but I am sure you don't care

ATC will always call you an Eclipse

That's because some genius gave the Eclipse an identifier of EA50 and the Phenoms E50P/E55P. Probably as frustrating as all the Global 5000 crews (GL5T) that get called Gulfstreams (GLF5) by ATC. At least in the latter case aircraft performance is similar.

Only fly the 100. There are a few climb schedules but as said before they’re not very good. Best rate is 200 up to fl308 then .55. Best angle is 160 up to I think 320 then .50. As mentioned you can do 250 to the mid teens and get a decent rate. All bets are off with anti ice/de ice on. I regularly see .67 in the low to mid 30s. Flying it here in the SW is a pain because of hot and high performance which absolutely blows. You have to watch for landing limitations in the winter with the anti ice on at high alt airports. In short, it’s a dog of an airplane in anything but seal level vfr. I want a 300...
