Hey thanks for the reply... I have the same book. Half way thru it now - work for me is crazy so I have very little reading time. Did u feel comfy with the test after reading the book? Did it prepare you for all sections of the test? I really don't have any specific questions - whatever you can offer would be great! Im horrible at math on the spot so I guess I'm already starting at the bottom

. How long did the test take u?
Thanks again and good luck to u!
the book does prepare you for the test, although the test is much easier...the letter factory on the book is a lot different because on the test they only give you letters that you need, not just random letters. also, the questions that pop up on the letter factory on the books cd are WAY off from what they ask you, so dont bother...the dont ask you how many times your ordered boxes, or how many times you clicked Quality Control..the questions are much much harder (make sure you know exactly what color boxes are on the bottom, whats in them, what letters are on the belts, and what colors they are). you can get stuff wrong and still get a great grade. the ATST was a lot easier on the test then on the cd. on the cd the planes move ever 1 second. on the test they only move every 7 seconds, so you have plenty of time to look at all planes and make the correct adjustments. the math was basically the same thing as the book, just take your time and you should be fine, just dont take to much because you have to answer 26 questions in about 19 i believe. the Dials were really easy, just study the ones in the book and you will be fine. they are easier on the test because they dont ask you C or F for temperature. the hardest part of the test (i think) was the Analogies. they are very hard and tricky, and you have to answer 46 in a short amount of time. i didnt get to do the last 3 or 4, and i dont think i got most of them right.
All in all the test tooke me just shy of 6 hours, but i took both 15 minute breaks (i took like 20 for each) and i took about an hour lunch. i would definately take the breaks if i were you because the test is very stressful on the brain. the letter factory is about 45 minutes and never stops, so when its done your brain is fried, and the test after that is the ATST test, and you need your concentration for it....so take the lunch break they give you in between the two tests. you dont need to be the first one done.
if you have any specific questions after reading this let me know.
Oh yeah, i took my test the 1st, and got my scores back last night.....I got a 96.3.....so take your time, and dont worry if you mess a section up (for me it was the analogies) because you can still get a great grade. good luck..
