Any "Redirects" still out there?

I originally got my TOL in Feb 2009, but in Sept 2009 I was redirected (I accepted hoping it would get me in right away). I was then told I had to wait until the second half of FY10 for my slot (sometime after April), but then Jan rolled around and they told me there were no more slots available for my facility and its looking like maybe next year. Is anyone in this same boat? Almost everyone that I saw on here that got a redirect already started or at least has a class date sometime this spring... Just curious. Misery loves company.:rolleyes:

I'm still slated for MKE, like you were originally, but have also been told that there are no slots for FY 2010.

yup. Im in exactly the same boat. I was originally slated for Deer Valley Phoenix, then in September I took a redirect to grand canyon to start "right away" and it never happened. im slated for fy 2011 now... except for last month they had me do all my retakes for my clearances including my drug test which only lasts 6 months, so I'm thinking there may be a chance to get in soon, because everyone is telling me that thats why they had me do all my clearances.

Ha you are the only one I could find when I first asked myself that question. The fact that they told you to get you stuff redone is a great sign. My hr rep told me she'll have me start getting re cleared once the ball was rolling for my class date... sounds like its gonna happen sometime in the near future for you!

Yeah, now I'm waiting around to move to Indiana... trust me I would rather be waiting for mke. Not sure whats going on over there. A buddy of mine started there last year and said they are really under staffed. No clue how this all works, but it doesnt sound like everyone is on the same page...
 
Airport Mania rocks. It's even better on the iPhone, if you've got one of them. The first night I got it, I played it for about an hour in bed while my wife was trying to fall asleep. She said she had dreams about the planes singing at the gates.
