Any one going to Reklaw next weekend?

What damn fun is that!!!! Thanks for the video though.....it's put together really well. I really enjoyed it and seeing some of my old fave aircraft. Looks like a blast. I hope someone from here can go and take some pics. I have a friend that flys in to some events at Lee Bottom a few times a year and sends me the pics so I can drool from afar. sigh

I was there last year and a couple other times. I know a bunch of people from my alma mater that will be there, it's always a good time. Rednecks, grass runway, and airplanes...it doesn't get much better than that.

Hold my beer, watch this.

Was strongly considering it, however, with the anniversary weekend being this next weekend upcoming, that thought was immediately nixed.

Would have been nice.

Looks like a great time.

Is doing a low fly by part of the arrival/departure procedure? :D

The music in the video is also used in the building where you get on the Millennium Force at Cedar Point if that was bugging anyone else. ;)

There is usually an AN-2 flying around there. It's interesting to see people flying in there- I have seen things like a P-Baron, P210 Silver Eagle, Caravan, Merlin (!!!!), and Twin Commander along with the usual assortment of Cezzners and Pipers. With the runway being where it is you get a very good look at various pilots' soft-field technique (or lack thereof) which is always entertaining and educational.

I never got to head down there but someday soon I hope to. I wouldn't feel right landing down there in a tri-cycle plane though.

EDIT: I did my spin training in the biplane pictured at 2:24. Man do I miss Texas.
