Any Naval Aviators out there?

I had a question for a fighter pilot or maybe a crew member on an aircraft carrier with related experience.

I was watching this video....

My Question:
I wanted to know how much those fighter jets could weigh with weapons and fuel, max ramp weight, and what the elevators capacity would be? Those things are bad ass!
(I do realize that the video description says those particular jets weigh 50k each)

Isn't your answer there? Thats about average for many. At least for my jets.

Well it didn't say if it was fully loaded. Are those elevators pretty reliable? I'd like to see those things work. I've only been on the navy cruisers with my grandpa, since he was in WWII he'd get all the navy perks and tours whenever he wanted. RIP

From what I understand they are. Bunk22 would know better.

Reliable enough to have worked for many decades, both with today's (somewhat lighter) jets, as well as yesterday's heavy metal (think A-3, A-5, F-4, F-14)

I saw something on the Discovery channel about those elevators, it's lifted by cables. I forget the exact number of cables (I think 8?) but they said 7 of the 8 (or whatever the number was) could fail and the single one left could safely lift the weight. Those are some big cables!

Not reliable on the rustbucket that was the JFK.

August 22, 1989 Port Everglades, Fla. A huge aircraft elevator carrying dozens of visitors touring the JOHN F. KENNEDY fails, injuring as many as 20 people, while the ship is holding an open house while docked at Port Everglades.

The F-14 has an MTOW around 74,000 lbs pounds accordning Janes. I have been told that the jets are normally only fueled/defueld on deck by the grapes.

I think the Strike Eagle is nearly 90k fully loaded, and it's bigger than any fighter you'll find on a carrier.

Well, sorta.

The nose gear tire is the limiting factor, and the max ramp weight is #81,000. Reportedly the tire will roll off the rim of you taxi heavier than that and try any significant turning.

If you take off with a reduced fuel weight, it's possible obviously to get up closer to that 90K mark if you top off after taking off.

There is the capability for a/c to be fueled in the hangar bay, but due to ventilation/space, spill and fire hazards, they wait to fuel all aircraft when they are on the flight deck.
