Just curious if anyone has heard of any job openings that might be there is FL, specifically Jacksonville. I cant seem to find that many of em, or I dont know where to look. Any help is appreciated.
Have you tried ATP in Jacksonville? Last I heard they were thinking of hiring instructors from outside. If you're looking for something other than CFI'ing and have less than 1000 hours, not much else that I know of other than PFT operations.
Yea I checked them out and they seem like an awsome operation. I faxed over my resume and am waiting to hear from them. They are my #1 choice for instructing. If I had to do all my training again I would have gone there in a heartbeat. I guess I will have to wait for a bit.
Couple of other schools you might want to check out in Orlando (if you don't mind living there instead of JAX) are Air Orlando and Avion. Air Orlando is at ORL and Avion is at SFB.
Sterling Flight Training at CRG has an ad on AOPA for a Chief/Assistant Chief. Pretty stiff requirements though, CFI, CFII, MEI, ATP, prior assistant chief experience.
I wonder if that means they pay more than $10 an hour???
I did hear a while back that Phoenix East Aviation in Daytona Beach was hirring. If you want more info let me know. I did a good chunk of my training there and I think they are a good school. I still know people there also. Hope this helps.
