any glider cfi's on here?

I'm not sure, but I would think that the lesson plans should be laid out the same as any CFI lesson plan. The only difference should be in the content/maneuvers.

JB did you ever get your CFI-A?

How is that coming?

I put it off alittle to get my comm glider done before weather went bad which I did about 2 weeks ago. So now I'm study for both CFI-A and CFI-G. CFI-A should be done by end of Nov. CFI-G will have to wait till next spring bc glider season is just about done here. The glider thing was a kind of unexpected thing. The school close to me lost there main instructor and it looked like a good oppurtinity to get a job and do some different flying so I joined up and they are rushing my through the training at a reduced cost so I can teach next spring. So I will probally spend most of next year teaching gliders instead of airplanes but I still plan to grab both my CFI and CFII. Im also building tailwheel time right currently at 35.4 hours. I need 100 to fly the pawnee next summer as well. So I have a busy fall/winter ahead of me.

I don't personally know of any CFI-Gs so when you get your -A and -G, post up and let us (me) know what it takes. I'd like to add all of the glider ratings too someday.

I just now found this, but if you need anymore help, my dad is a CFI-G.

Also, let me know how it goes, I will be doing mine in the Spring.
