EDIT: If anyone can make these smaller and make it so you have to click it to make it larger, please let me know how.
navymmw and I were spotting at BOS today and we saw an Antonov An-124 land. I have no idea why it came here today, but it was cool to see.

great pics, i like the b747 one.

i dont know what program you use to upload your pics, but i know that photobucket resizes all pics automatically, and so do other online photo album sites like flickr and picasso.

I used photobucket, but I thought there was some option on the forum to make it like a gallery where you click it to make it full size...

You can upload the photos to your JC album and then link to that with the [ img ] [ / img ]. It will get sized down. I just saved the photo and here is the result of that:

It used to come into DTW quite frequently in the past while the auto's weren't in the toilet.

Saw one of these guys at PHL back in June I believe. No freaking clue why it was there at the GA ramp.

Saw one on the ramp at DMA a while back. They are HUGE! Thanks for sharing the shots .

Those of you that fly into ORF may notice the mile long skid marks on 5/23 thanks to this monster. Story is they blew out 3 of the main tires on landing. Thank goodness it had 17 more and could taxi to the ramp on its own.

Did you happen to notice the floor? Titanium.

A few years ago at Paris, the Russians were handing out small titanium cylinders as part of the briefing on the -124 and no, I didn't get one.

Aside from stepping on them, I didn't notice that. Thats crazy. The towbar was ridiculous though.

a bit long but interesting cockpit dynamics. Also note: TWO F/Es and TWO loadmasters. F/O gets reversers and spoilers. [YT]q_Nn02tAQtQ[/YT]

And if you have never been in a Russian airplane, those fan blades are soft rubber and actually work quite well.
