They had SFO-LAX before both Xmas and Thanksgiving for $33 with first class for about $85 until 2 weeks out. Last year, those flights would have been $250-400 one way depending given the going of last minute holiday travel. The world(well, you know, the parts letting in Americans) is your oyster if you're homeless and want to go be homeless somewhere else right now.

It’s one of those things where the absurdity is genuinely funny, but what caused it (and frankly, how many boots does it take?) isn’t.
