The fact that you can't seem to wrap your head around is that it was ATP who took out ad space in AOPA's Flight Training magazine that stated they were VA Approved for 141 courses.

Ahh.. Where on the add did it say anything other than "VA Approved"? The school was indeed VA Approved at the time and shortly thereafter the specific programs were approved.

You may want to get your facts straight before making acqusations on a public forum.

I think it says alot about you, that you would jump to such insane conclusions without taking a moment to understand what was going on.

Since you have spent a great deal of time in the Falcon forum attempting to persuade people to choose falcon over ATP I assume you're working for them. You say you're not but you say alot of things that aren't true.

Kinda hard to believe anything you say now.

Go ahead and get all outraged because your a veteran.

You just don't know when to stop do you...? :whatever:
Just pointing out his inaccuracies. Mine aren't made up though.

You're the ones that should really stop already. What ever you do don't ever admit that you made a mistake.

Sorry I'm not just going to sit here while he makes stuff up. He can stop making stuff up and I'll stop pointing out that he's making stuff up. Its pretty simple

Please Review:

1. Keep your posts professional.
You never know who'll end up as your new chief pilot. Trust me, I know.

2. Do not spam the forum.
If you need traffic or want to plug your business or website, please contact advertising@jetcareers.com

3. Watch your language.
If you can't express your frustration without the use of a four-letter word, come back when you're not as frustrated.

4. Be kind to your fellow user.
Take it outside, folks, this isn't cage fighting and 99.9% of the rest of us don't care that you two can't get along on a personal level.

5. Pay it forward.
Did someone on the site help you? Return the favor and help someone on site that needs guidance. "I got mine, pull up the rope" isn't what we're about.

6. Be proactive.
Don't like the direction or attitude in a thread? Well, state your case clearly and concisely. Leave the verbal rocket launcher at home.

7. If it isn't "PG-13", it doesn't belong on the website.
I uhh, really didn't need an uhh, that plastered on my work computer in the pilot lounge. Come on now!

8. Consider yourself an invited guest in my living room.
If you wouldn't act a fool in my home as an invited guest, refrain from doing it on my website. Keep you feet off the furniture, don't whizz on the toilet seat and we'll get along just fine! :)

9. Don't Post Angry!
It can really make you look like a doofus. Besides, arguing on the internet is stupid. You don't want to be stupid, right? :)

10. Non-aviation threads belong in the Lavatory.
The lavatory is there as a means to an end when you want to talk about anything that is not aviation related. Enjoy it, use it, don't abuse it.

11. Our moderators are not "referees". We're here to keep Jetcareers a friendly, informative and fun environment, not to ensure "overly vigorous" debates are fought out evenly. If a thread or user has gotten out of hand, report it to the moderation team using the 'report post' feature (
report.gif
). If your response to the user is in clear violation of the the rules of this website, you may receive a warning or infraction -- even though you feel "the other guy started it first". This is very important and helps maintain a healthy environment here at Jetcareers.com.

12. Most importantly, HAVE FUN.
Jetcareers is "edu-tainment". You can have a great time, exchange ideas, actually even learn something about aviation without the stuffy "I have more hours than thou" attitude at other websites. Attend one of our many "Meet 'n Greets" and learn for yourself.

We reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason.

I can think of a few of those rules that have been disregarded in this thread.

Here is the bottom line:
1. Doug wants a friendly tone in his website.
2. Doug is fully vested in the idea of getting good information into the hands of prospective pilots to better let them make well educated decisions.
3. Item 2 above does not overide Item 1.

I really don't care who is right or wrong on this topic. (Read Rule #11 above for clarification.) If you all want to carry on this discussion in a reasonable manner, bring the facts, keep it light, and seriously avoid attacking people...have at it.

Word of warning; it was a tough day flying today. I'm running on a short fuse.

The last time Surreal was even associated with ATP in a Falcon thread was June 23rd, 2008.

Do you know how to use the search function? If so it is pretty easy to follow Surreal's aviation career.

You can also cross-reference that time-line with other posts where actual people met the guy and confirm his version of his own life. There are even guys who worked with him at the same airline he worked at.

Whatever your beef is, it seems very personal and quite frankly doesn't belong here.

Why can't you just let it go is beyond me.

Amazing. All I have to add, well, maybe not.

I've learned my lesson many years ago, moleman will come around eventually.

Since we want facts, I will simply state that the first time the ad was seen, there were no VA Approved 141 flight training programs. Only thing that was "VA Approved" when the add was first seen were examiner fees and test costs, which, largely, do not require any amount of VA Approval. Just a small brochure form the Department of Veteran Affairs that is filled out by anyone taking any training associated exam (be it for a CDL, A+ certification, MCSE, CCNA, etc).
