Yes, you will need your own headset, kneeboard, timer, charts, and whatever else you use in the cockpit. There is a great pilot shop near the airport in Jax called Aircraft Engine Works.

You get reimbursed for charts used on XCs at the end of the program. You will need local plates, enroute, and sectionals for your training and checkrides.
