I uh...might have a "friend" interviewing at AE very soon. Anyone go through the process recently that might have some tips I can share with "him"?

Thanks. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Be sure to tell your friend, /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif Good Luck from the crew at JetCareers.

also eaglelounge.com has some good information. just make sure your "friend" could pass a medical given by nasa doctors and he will do fine on the eagle medical /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

yeah, I heard they do a prostate exam for the interview.....OUCH!! /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

Really? Man, that's a positive and a negative. A 'negative' if they don't find anything. A huge negative initially if they DO find something, but a positive that you perhaps caught testicular cancer early.

They just moved up to the top of mine /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif haha, j/k

An acquaintance of mine was hired there recently, let me know if you want to talk to him and I'll PM you his email.

I just keep seeing you as 'Snoop Dogg' in all of your replies man!

Messing with your aloft gestalt, am I? (or should I say, your gestizzle /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif)

They do not do a prostate exam. The medical is not a big deal. You can pass even with previous issues. I passed with known kidney stones.

They sure do a prostate exam!

The doctor very specifically did one on me. I saw the glove and the KY and said, "Oh no do we have to go through with that?"

And he replied, "Oh yes! We have to say hello to Mr. Prostate!"

That medical is right out of "The Right Stuff." The doctor is an ME but forget getting an FAA medical out of it, even though it is more advanced than any medical I've ever taken:

3 stool samples
eye pressure test
chest x-ray
stress test
ekg
lung capacity test
eye and ear exam (extensive)
and a totally ridiculous set of psychological questions.
