One of the owners is my friend and co-worker, if you see John Fay running around the school that afternoon, tell him I said howdy.

Yes, he teaches the Jet Transition course that we offer about every 2 months or so. Very good guy!

Certainly!

We flew a couple rotations together in JFK before he went back to the maddog as captain.

Good luck everyone! If you have any Eagle specific questions, myself and a few others on here are captives of the "beagle".

I appreciate your offer to field questions. Several months ago I submitted an app (through www.airlineapp.com). About a month ago I got, and responded to, an automated reply asking for an updated addendum. To date, there's been no further contact.

My questions;

What is a reasonable period to wait before expecting a response?

Is it worth republishing an app?

Are there any similar recruiting exercises planned for the west coast?

Thanks.

Thanks for the correction. I got it right when I went to the site.

Just making sure someone nefarious doesn't try to pimp you for additional information! :)

A gentleman and a scholar. I appreciate it.

"Dear General. I would love to send you $400. Unfortunately I am in exile but if you would do me this favor ..." ;)

Ive heard of other people getting the 'updated addendum' email. I think what happened was they changed/removed/ or added a question on there and want you to answer it. I don't think it provides any insight as to where you are in the process. Go back through and make sure you have answered everything in the addendum.

As far as your airlineapp, you only have to submit it once, and from then on just keep it updated.

I dont know about other recruiting events. If I hear about them, i'll post when/where on here. The experience of our pilot candidates really has a range. Everything from CFI, to prior 121 and furloughed to part 135.

With so many furloughed pilots on the street at this time, is there any chances for less than 1000 tt and less than 100 me tt pilots to snag an interview with American Eagle.

Well, you have to think about the folks that may be furloughed but don't want to start all over at a new airline.

Personally, I think if I got furloughed, the idea of making almost 1/5 (1/4th?) of my pay to sit reserve with 10 days/month off in a strange city isn't a realistic option.

Thats what I'm banking on! (no pun intended) :rawk:

How can I make myself standout to get an interview? I have prior 121 experience, over 1200 hours, 170 hours of multi engine, 77 of that in the EMB-145 with my SIC type. Any suggestions?
