Anybody on here ever worked for these guys? I have questions in my mind regarding how one can survive on $1500 a month.... how much flying there is to be had.... maintenance.... and how is the company as a whole? Good, bad, ugly?
Thanks

I haven't heard one good thing about them at all. From former employees, and the FAA.

They used to be in SLC

I think its a scenic flying not 135 so stay in the 25 mile area of page. I may be wrong

I instructed for them for a short while in SLC. It was okay... But very slow so i left. They used to be really big but not anymore. The flight school is down to a single archer now. I guess they had a few crashes a few years ago on the charter side.
I would fly for Air Grand Canyon or somebody else if you are looking for a better 135 gig.

Heard $1500 month for seasonal charter flying, Grand Canyon type of stuff. I think they are trying to get 135 certs, but still feeling heat from the Feds.

Sound like Merit and I have heard the same stories about them. From my understanding AA will never get a 135 under the SLC FSDO

FYI I don't know the company but Redtail?, Aerowest? out of Moab was looking for 206/207 pilots for vfr 135 haulin river runners. Some beautiful flying out of there.

From more than one Redtail pilot they are always looking for pilots. One guy I know went down there last spring with a wet commercial and now has over 135 mins. they have turnover because their pilots get a lot of hours and move on. From what I have heard they are a pretty good outfit to work for.
